Resumen
Se estudia el fenómeno de la difusión de las ideas comparando las representaciones sobre la democracia en hombres y mujeres, ambos grupos usan elementos de contraste para expresar el contenido del objeto. Las mujeres tienen una representación orientada hacia la interacción y la reciprocidad, la representación de los hombres concita a la movilización. Esas maneras de asignar significados al objeto evidencian por un lado, la marca de grupo, y del otro, la manera de cada uno para acceder al mundo de la polÃtica.
Abstract
The social representation of democracy. Beliefs regarding the common good. The phenomenon of the spread of ideas is studied by comparing the representations of democracy in males and females, where each group is shown to use contrasting elements to express the content of the object studied. Whereas female groups share representations oriented toward interaction and reciprocity, the representations of male groups aim to promote mobilization. These different ways of assigning meaning to a social object evidence both the groupÂ’s frame of reference as well as the different ways each of them perceives their access route to the political world.
